Terms of Service

Effective May 7, 2026

By creating an account or using the School Connect service (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who can use the Service

Schools, administrators, teachers, parents, and students may use the Service through accounts provisioned by the school. Individuals under the age of 13 must use the Service only with parental consent and through their school's provisioned account.

You own your data. The school is the data controller for all school-level information (students, teachers, classes, attendance, fees, etc.). We are a processor acting on the school's instructions. You can export your data at any time and request deletion through our Data Deletion process.

We aim for 99.9% uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced via email when possible.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll email you about material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the change means you accept the new Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Disputes will first attempt to be resolved through good-faith negotiation by emailing hello@schoolservice.in.
